SAM Universal’s students are exposed to a variety of opportunities to involve themselves in a plethora of activities round the year. Participation in such activities teaches each child essential life skills such as effective time management, leadership, communication and the ability to interact and develop relationships.

Literary club is committed to inculcate among students a fondness for language, enhance literary creativity and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the school curriculum and is poised to enable the talents with cutting edge. It aims to develop and hone the literary skills of the students and inspire the students to develop a taste for literature and also works in the direction of educating their spoken and written language. It is intricate in a variety of activities aimed at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of students in facing various interpersonal activities and competitions. The club includes activities like extempore, essay writing, creative writing, poetry writing, debate, elocution, skit, journalism, quiz and reading to enhance the speech and oratorical skills to encourage the students to become orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking and imbibe a sense of confidence, to promote communication skills and help in teamwork ability to speak and emote before audience and thereby increase the emotional quotient of the students, to promote the ability to organize and analyze the available resources and adopt technological advancements to present ideas creatively and artistically.

Heritage Education is not merely recreation for students but should be an important part of their learning process. It will help them understand history and society and will inculcate values of respect for diversity and tolerance. While it is important to highlight aspects of national heritage, it is also important to bring local heritages into the purview of heritage education programmes. The clubs activities can go a long way in helping the child experience culture and heritage and bring alive many of the things she reads in her history textbook. The activities include- Heritage walks in historical areas of cities/towns/World Heritage Sites, Nature walks/excursions to local parks, areas of bio-diversity, even agrarian sites, Site visits to museums, interpretation centers, and archaeological sites. Small research projects for students that can be put up as mini-exhibitions/bulletin board displays on heritage 6.
Involving students in documenting local living heritage like festivals, performing arts or craftsmen and women, heritage debates, quizzes, discussions and activities like presentations, field trips and documentation, the members can adopt a local monument, clean up its environs, investigate its local official and oral history, study the monument and make drawings of its details as well as overall plan, understand the challenges in its conservation and upkeep and campaign for its preservation, workshops with experts which involve hands-on learning, details on traditional beliefs, games and recipes may be collected by the students from their parents and grandparents and a show-and-tell can take place introducing the importance of the recipes and their relevance to certain occasions like festivals or seasons, students to trace and write their own family histories and traditions, to understand historical change through this, site visits for students to crafts centers, textile loom units, handicraft workshops and factories to understand craft and industrial heritage. These will actually help the students to understand the scientific fact behind the beliefs, cherish and appreciate our culture, tradition and heritage.
Health is a condition (mental and physical) in which the individual is functionally well adjusted internally with respect to body parts and externally with his environment. In a broader perspective Physical Education and health education are mutually interdependent and fitness club as an integral part, can favorably influence the habits', attitude and knowledge relating to an individual and community. These clubs can modify our behaviour towards the attainment of optimum health and cater to provide physical fitness is an important component of wellness. The club provides opportunity for physical exercise which activates pituitary glands and hypothalamus secreting 'feel good' hormones.
These hormones also have the capacity to reduce pains and improve the Sense of well being. Wellness has been defined as the constant and deliberate effort to stay healthy and achieve the highest potential for well-being. The club, with its Bokwa and Zumba programmes help to improve the stamina. It involves high and low-intensity movements to pace the heart rate and hence helps in strengthening the heart too. It is a great exercise for weight loss and also helps to sharpen the mind and stay active. Above all, music and dance acts as the perfect mood lifter on any day.
Talent, creativity, productivity, and achievement are terms that define the Art Club. The Club is dedicated to promote and support art enthusiasts, to propagate and contribute to special occasion activities held at our school. The Club members experiment with creative artwork by using simple, ordinary materials, under the supervision of a professional instructor in the Arts work hall. The main objective of the club is to provide a platform to the students to create some new artistic creations by using raw minds. Recycling products, interior designing, allow the students to showcase their talents in the field of Art and Craft, to come up with innovative ideas to add ambience to their surroundings and to enable the students to reach their maximum creative potential.
Great inventions from steamboat to satellite, all forms of artistic expression from painting to science models have depended on creative thoughts. The rapid changes of our present age require the problems to be tackled creatively. Going by this noted saying, the club in the school aims at strengthening the human values in the hearts of young SAMITES to live them up in their families, neighbourhood, school community and society at large to strengthen value based culture in the country. It aims at cultivating human values among students by organising games, activities and workshops in schools," "Due to excessive influence of electronic media, the internet and mobile phones, nuclear family system and rapidly growing urbanization, children are more exposed to negative values,"
The club will work on spreading values through activities like sharing anecdotes, narrating stories and reciting poems on values. The students get sensitized towards a lot of unethical practices such as ragging, cheating in exams and use of foul language. The values are inculcated through informal means like workshops, projects, activities and games. The activities will also include group discussions, music, drama and painting.
PI club will be a valuable aid to develop students’ level of Math skills and knowledge. The club in the school aims in developing heuristic and problem-solving attitude among the students. It provides opportunity for students to translate the theory in to practice and to apply their learning in daily life situations. It meets individual needs of the students as every member gets an opportunity to work in his areas of interest. The activities are designed to provide firsthand experience to the learners as they participate in model making, exhibition, field work, and laboratory work and so on, which develops inventive, explorative and creative faculties of the child.

The club in our school is a modern combination of several types of activities and reflect today's more eclectic and varied needs of the society. These activities focus on exploring and exposing the child’s inborn curiosity and talents. It includes a broad range of activities to enhance the child’s potential and to expose and train them to face the varying challenges and quiz competitions in today’s scenario. Unlike in traditional clubs, the students are not limited to one kind of event or special interest but include a broad range of training in their weekly calendars to ignite their unrevealed talents to reach beyond the best.
Getting children involved in the kitchen is a great way to encourage them to eat healthily. They will eagerly tuck into something they have prepared themselves and take great pride in watching someone else enjoy their food. With the support of a cookery club, the school tries to inculcate healthy eating habits among the young leaders, which is the most needed education in the day today scenario on junk food. children can learn about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet, how to plan and prepare balanced meals, find out what food is in season , read and understand food labels, learn about food hygiene and food safety skills, and, above all, discover that cooking is fun!
In our dedicated cookery room our children explore a variety of cooking experiences. The children get fully involved and take great enjoyment in mixing, rolling and cutting, .They also learn different techniques of cooking, different ingredients; different terms in cooking, preparation required before cooking .This club helps to bring out the creativity in students, boost their self esteem, give them an atmosphere to work as a team, and teach them planning and making choices and helps to contribute to the family. The club also leaves them self sustained to help themselves and the family, the learning which becomes very essential to meet up the day’s need to remain independent.
