Informative Library

SRI AUROBINDO MIRA UNIVERSAL SCHOOL has well equipped computerized libraries, with over 4,500 volumes which include books, videos, DVDs,CDs, Monthly and Weekly Magazines which are added continually. The Prime Objective of the Library is to make it a Learning Resource Center. The Library has various online facilities for easy access of information including Online Public Access Catalogue, Digital Library. The library also provides students and teachers with a range of reference books, encyclopedia, journals and newspapers and internet facilities to enrich their classroom activities and knowledge. Well known writers are invited regularly to read from their works.

All new books are arranged on a display table in the library for a month and review put up on the Notice Board. Our specially trained Language teachers organize the Library Week with book readings, news readings, designing book jackets & Bookmarks and writing book reviews. To encourage reading for pleasure we honor the students with Best Book Reviews, C’Zar of the Week and C’Zar of Vocabulary etc., A Classroom Strategy for the teacher to attract children to books is to use lots of colourful posters that encourage children to read. Hence, we have reading corners even in our KINDERGARTEN Classes to inculcate the reading habit.
